Position Summary: The Business Office Manager is responsible for the billing and collection process of the community’s revenue in accordance with current acceptable accounting principles, state and federal regulations, Administrative policies and procedures and as directed by the Administrator. The Business Office Manager will record census, cash, and revenue, counsel residents and responsible parties regarding their financial responsibilities and maintain documentation of collection efforts. You will also be responsible for administering and performing human resources/payroll functions to the community in accordance with current acceptable accounting principles relating to operations, state and federal regulations, and as directed by the Administrator. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention of employees. Education/Qualifications: • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. • Must have, as a minimum, two (2) year(s) experience in a long-term care business office or other related healthcare setting. • Must have, as a minimum, two (2) year(s) experience in Payroll and/or HR Administration • Must possess a working knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning payroll/personnel administration in nursing care facilities, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, Workers' compensation & unemployment. • Must possess intermediate computer skills and ability to navigate through HRIS software. Shift & Wage: • Full-Time Opportunity Available • Shift Needed: Monday - Friday • Wage: Up to $27.00 per hour • Program details can vary amongst buildings.
