The Professional Coding Support Specialist provides customer-facing support to users of TruBridge’s Professional Coding software. This role supports HIM and coding professionals by answering questions related to coding workflows, system navigation, and application usage. The specialist takes ownership of user inquiries, documents interactions, and ensures timely resolution while maintaining compliance with coding standards and healthcare regulations. This role is ideal for a professional (pro-fee) coder or HIM professional who enjoys problem-solving, helping others, and working in a software-supported environment. Key Responsibilities • Respond to user inquiries related to TruBridge Professional Coding software via phone, email, or ticketing system • Assist users with coding workflow questions and proper use of the application • Take ownership of user issues and see them through resolution • Document all interactions and resolutions clearly and accurately • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate or resolve issues when needed • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and applicable healthcare regulations What This Role Is / Is Not This Role Is: • A customer support role for professional coding software users • Focused on coding workflows and application usage • Ideal for HIM or professional coding professionals This Role Is Not: • An IT or technical support position • Responsible for hardware, servers, or network troubleshooting • A software development or engineering role Qualifications • Professional (pro-fee) coding or HIM experience • Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10-CM, and professional coding workflows • Strong communication and customer service skills • Comfort working with software applications and documenting user issues Professional
