Position Summary: The Finance team is focused on delivering and developing key financial metrics for the organization. The Junior FP&A Analyst plays a critical role in driving financial insight, supporting strategic decision-making, and enhancing overall business performance. This position partners closely with department leaders and senior executives to develop budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics that align with the company’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of financial modeling, and the curiosity to explore the business drivers behind the numbers. Essential Functions Partner with department and executive leaders to develop annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts Lead monthly financial reporting, including analysis and redesign of departmental P&L statements Provide detailed variance analysis and explain performance drivers to business partners and leadership Conduct profitability and scenario analyses for new business opportunities, pricing strategies, and strategic initiatives Support company-wide financial planning processes by creating and maintaining forecasting models Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement Deliver actionable insights through clear, data-driven presentations and reports Participate in ad hoc projects and provide analytical support for strategic business decisions Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Analytical Expertise: Strong ability to interpret and synthesize complex financial data into meaningful insights Financial Modeling: Advanced modeling and reporting skills, with the ability to simplify and visualize complex data sets Technical Proficiency: Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in Tableau, Net Suite, and Snowflake not needed but preferred Strategic Thinking: Ability to influence business decisions and support both short- and long-term financial planning Communication: Skilled at presenting financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders Detail-Oriented: High degree of accuracy and consistency in reporting and analysis Other Experience Required 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance or Mathematics background, MBA plus Minimum three years experience working in corporate finance Proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel General understanding of a P&L Great Plains and Management Reporter experience preferred SQL experience preferred The Perks Compensation range from $90,000-$110,000 Great medical, dental, vision, short- & long-term disability and life insurance options Company paid holidays, floating holiday, and paid time off (PTO) 401(k) plan with competitive company match Eligible for free monitored security system after 90 days Education assistance – we encourage and support our employees who want to improve their skills and further their education Engaging and fun company culture that’s made up of a diverse group of people Volunteer and community engagement opportunities.
