Scheduled Hours 37.5 Position Summary WashU's Division of Student Affairs seeks an administrative professional for the position of Program Coordinator, Student Success Fund. The Division of Student Affairs advances the educational mission of the university through resources and experiences outside the classroom that prepare our students for lifelong success. The WashU Office of Financial Wellness (OFW) is a university resource dedicated to providing financial literacy programs, educational opportunities, and campus resources to support and improve the overall financial well-being of students. One significant way in which the OFW provides student support is through the administration of various Student Success Funds (SSF) which are designed to help students alleviate financial costs that fall outside the parameters of a standard financial aid award. Under the supervision of the Director, Financial Wellness Programs, the Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Student Success Fund (SSF) which are available to students through an application process. This position will also provide general programming support to the Taylor Family Center for Student Success (TFCSS). Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Coordinates aspects of the Student Success Fund (SSF) by overseeing the application process, the initial review of requests, preparing a list of requests for weekly review by the Student Success Fund Review Committee, and final awarding within the budgetary limits of each fund. Ensures that all reporting and records are properly maintained and updated. Communicates and coordinates with WashU Student Financial Services to: Facilitate communications to students whose financial aid will be impacted by SSF payments. Track and secure consents from impacted students who elect to have their awards adjusted and SSF payments processed. Ensure the correct debiting occurs in student accounts. Prepare periodic reports that include summaries of applications, funds awarded, status updates, etc. Ensures the system records are accurately and consistently updated to reflect the status of each application. Communicates accurately, effectively, professionally, and in a timely manner with SSF applicants, keeping them updated on their application status, actions needed, and final award decision. Provides administrative assistance to support programming, communications, and other activities related to financial literacy/wellness. Performs other duties as assigned.
