Role Overview: As a Project Manager - MEP, you will lead and oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects from inception to completion. Your role is critical in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to drive project success and innovation. What You'll Do: - You will manage all phases of MEP projects, including planning, design, execution, and closeout. - You will coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and project alignment. - You will develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. - You will oversee quality control and compliance with industry standards and regulations. - You will identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful delivery. - You will lead project meetings, prepare reports, and present updates to stakeholders. - You will mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth. - You will contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities and supporting proposals. What You Bring: - You have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field. - You have at least 5 years of experience managing MEP projects in engineering or construction. - You possess strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and industry best practices. - You have proven experience with project management software and tools. - You demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. - You hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification (preferred). Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with sustainable design and LEED certification processes. - Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software. - Previous experience working with municipal or government clients. - PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
