Role Overview: As the Group Manager of Water Resources Engineering, you will lead a dynamic team focused on delivering cutting-edge water resource solutions. Your role is pivotal in managing projects, mentoring staff, and ensuring the highest standards of technical excellence and client satisfaction. What You'll Do: - You will oversee and manage water resources engineering projects from inception to completion. - You will lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technical staff. - You will collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met. - You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. - You will develop and implement innovative engineering solutions to complex water resource challenges. - You will manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively. - You will contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities and preparing proposals. - You will promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the team. What You Bring: - Minimum of 8 years of experience in water resources engineering or related fields. - Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and projects. - Strong knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater management, and environmental regulations. - Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills. - Proficiency with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling tools. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with municipal and regional water resource projects. - Background in environmental permitting and compliance. - Advanced degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. - Experience with business development and client relationship management.
