Description Concord Hospitality is seeking a proactive and results-driven Catering & Sales Manager to lead social and corporate catering events, including guest room bookings. This role combines sales, event management, and guest service, with a focus on maximizing revenue and delivering exceptional experiences. A flexible schedule, including weekends (and peak-season Tuesday–Saturday), is required. Key Responsibilities: • Sell and manage social and corporate catering events, including guest rooms, banquet food & beverage, and upselling contracted groups • Negotiate contracts, suggest menus, and coordinate room setups according to policy and client needs • Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure flawless event execution and guest satisfaction • Generate new business through solicitation, networking, and follow-up with past clients • Finalize and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and maintain accurate event records • Lead pre-event, on-site, and post-event communications to ensure service excellence • Monitor budgets, sales quotas, and revenue opportunities; implement strategies to increase catering revenue during low-demand periods • Conduct site tours for prospective clients and facilitate client meetings as needed • Train, delegate, and guide staff to ensure smooth operation of events and service standards Qualifications: • Minimum 2 years’ experience in catering sales, hotel convention services, banquet management, hotel sales, or culinary arts (or equivalent combination of education and experience) • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills • Ability to work a flexible schedule and thrive in a fast-paced environment • Guest-focused with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding service Benefits • Competitive wages • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Life insurance and short/long-term disability options • 401(k) with company match • Tuition assistance • Discounted room rates at Concord-managed hotels • Training, development, and career advancement opportunities Why Join Concord?
