The Director of Commercial Marketing will develop, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing strategies to meet corporate awareness and lead generation objectives. This role will also oversee the strategic execution of the brand and manage multiple contractors and agencies.
The ideal candidate should have proven marketing leadership experience and strong analytical skills. A deep understanding of the technical aspects of Countable Labs technology and experience in genomics is also desirable.

Role Overview The Director of Commercial marketing will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for multi-channel marketing strategy and execution. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director Commercial Marketing will oversee and contribute to all marketing channels globally. In addition, this role will lead the strategic execution of the brand at Countable Labs and manage multiple contractors and agencies. This role will be responsible for showcasing our scientific content and working with their team to develop and execute the outbound marketing strategy, resulting in increased awareness and lead generation for the Countable Labs brand and product portfolio to ultimately meet the business revenue targets and objectives. The individual in this role must thrive in a fast-paced environment, as well as be creative, innovative, and action-driven. The candidate will need to manage multiple priorities and communicate with all levels of the organization. What You’ll Do Develop, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing strategies and tactical plans to meet corporate awareness and lead generation objectives. Digital channels include social media, email nurture campaigns, 3rd party advertising, webinars, SEO, SEM, and websites. Live channels include conferences and seminars. Lead the strategy and execution of the corporate website. Lead the strategy and execution of in-person and virtual events Develop the content strategy in alignment with key customer targets and customer journey Manage the relationships and direct the priorities of multiple agencies across design, web, advertisement, and PR Guide the company in the execution of their brand identity Work cross functionally with Product, Applications, Business Development, Sales and Support to strongly connect to target audiences and their motivators Be willing to act as a player/coach in this role by executing on tactics individually and through their team Frequently monitor and report the ROI of marketing programs and campaigns and adjust as needed to meet the corporate objectives Determine smart, conservative headcount plans then hire the best to execute to the goals. What We’re Looking for Proven marketing leadership experience with a problem-solving attitude and quick, excellent decision making Exceptionally creative and willing to think outside of what’s always been done Demonstrated ability to motivate and excite a team through your strategy, company vision, and personal dedication Very strong analytical and interpretation skills to aid in reporting the marketing campaign metrics and budgeting Capability to have a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the Countable Labs technology and the application areas and industry areas that it is in. Strong verbal, short/long form written, and presentation communication skills An advanced degree in sciences or equivalent is desirable Experience in Genomics, dPCR, qPCR Previous marketing communications or in-house brand experience Deep knowledge and successful usage of marketing automation tools such as HubSpot or Marketo Knowledge of using back-end web content management systems Domestic and international travel up to 10%
