Overview The Business Operations Analyst role will partner with various departments and levels of leadership as part of the Retrieval Ops Shared Services team, supporting Retrieval Operations functions. As a Business Operation Analyst, this person will provide a strong link between the business customers across Retrieval Ops, using large datasets as well as reporting and analytics projects, perform data analysis, conduct impact assessments, regularly to identify and address complex business challenges, define and drive strategic, operational, and organizational improvements across the business. A Business Operations Analyst will be self-motivated, intellectually curious, a fast learner, comfortable with ambiguity and working independently, able to focus on details while thinking strategically. They will have the ability to solve business problems of moderate scope and deliver insights that enable timely and effective operational decision- making. Responsibilities Partner with key business personnel in answering complex questions with both quantitative and qualitative insights. Support special Business Operations projects to include planning, requirements gathering, development, management, analysis, training, and execution. Gather and analyze large amounts of information quickly and problem solve effectively. Conduct sophisticated analysis and modeling that translates data into actionable insights and supports business development. Develop, track and report on key operational metrics and playbooks in partnership with key business leaders. Drive quality improvement initiatives throughout the company. Serve as an active participant in cross-functional planning cycles linking our strategy to operating and financial metrics. Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting. Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree with quantitative focus (Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Accounting) or equivalent practical experience – Required. 1-3 years’ experience in management consulting, data analytics, investment banking, business strategy, operational excellence/process improvement, and/or Finance. Strong analytical, quantitative, written, and interpersonal skills. Experience presenting and analyzing large quantities of data with strong spreadsheet and database query experience (e.g. SQL). Comfort working in fast-paced environment with limited guidance. Advanced experience in Excel and PowerPoint. SQL and database management experience. Extremely well-organized and capable of handling multiple projects and ad-hoc requests simultaneously. Lean knowledge/experience to apply lean concepts and principles across respective value streams (preferred). Experience in healthcare and/or software industries a plus. Experience creating reports, visuals and dashboard in Power BI (preferred). At least 1-year Cotiviti experience is recommended for individuals seeking their next opportunity internally. Data Interpretation: must interpret business data, identify trends, and transform that data into actionable insights for stakeholders. Requirement Gathering: need strong communication skills to effectively gather requirements from non- technical stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications for developers. Managing Multiple Tasks: often juggle multiple projects or They need strong mental capabilities to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance. Empathy: A high level of emotional intelligence helps to understand and manage the emotions and concerns of stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration. Conflict Resolution: They must manage disputes or differing opinions between business teams and IT teams in a professional, calm, and constructive manner. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area. Must be able to provide high-speed internet access / connectivity and office setup and maintenance. Base compensation is $70,000 to $89,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs. This role is eligible for discretionary bonus consideration.
