Our work environment includes: * Modern office setting * Food provided Summary: To provide quality control and assurance functions that ensure products conform to company standards. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Prepares items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory. * 2. Audits and reviews records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures as well as, notifies warehouse manager low stock levels. * 3. Reports any discrepancies in orders to appropriate individuals. * 4. Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner. 5. Coordinates inventory management with the warehouse manager as needed. 6. Assigns daily work order instructions to the Warehouse Shipping Staff. * 7. Maintains and reports product conformance to specifications through inspection of raw material, work in process and finished goods inventories. 8. Reviews the production process for conformance to quality standards. 9. Reports and tracks any significant deviations from quality standards. 10. Establishes and presents regular training for inspection and manufacturing employees on quality issues. 11. Encourage and train each employee to perform quality control as a part of their operation. 12. Ensures quality performance tests are meeting company standards. 13. Performs other related duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: 1. Develops and maintains an effective department through the training, motivation, scheduling, termination and review of employees. 2. Supervises quality inspectors to ensure performance of all internal and external quality checks. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
