You will lead the processes from data collection and training models and deploying to production. The ideal candidate will have experience and passion about artificial intelligence and the passion to help integrate your machine learning expertise with our autonomous coding engine. Our coding engine gives health care providers fast/accurate/hands-off coding of charts. Working in a small cross -functional team, you will help the customer by building new features and enhancing the existing platform. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Note: The essential duties and responsibilities below are intended to describe the general duties and responsibilities of this position and are not intended to be an exhaustive statement of duties. Responsibilities: Analyzing the ML algorithms that could be used to solve a given problem Training models and tuning their parameters Analyzing the errors of the model and designing strategies to overcome them Deploying models to production Apply methods, concepts, and theories to new situations. Adapts and applies changes to local team processes to support team goals … focuses on important information as determined by others Cooperate with the business development, product, design, and development teams to participate in product feature and design discussions and to regularly demo your well tested and peer reviewed code Provide clear written communication using collaboration tools Demonstrate good presentation skills Separate complex topics into understandable parts Influence the accomplishment of tasks beyond personal scope of responsibility Bring a passion to learn and the best engineering practices to the team EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years of related experience Software development experience using Java Ability and desire to learn and work with new languages and technologies as needed Experience with agile development methodologies Strong debugging skills Familiarity with Linux PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in few of these areas (or similar): Azure Cosmos DB, Redis Vector Stores Open AI/GPT knowledge AWS Services, AWS SDK usage Scripting (Linux OS), Git, Slack API, Rundeck Natural Language Processing Document Formatting languages such as: XML, JSON, PDF, OCR, HL7 EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent WE OFFER: Competitive salary commensurate to relative experience (roughly 135k-140k annually) Quality of life with a remote predictable, full-time schedule Medical, Dental, Vision coverage + more 401K with company match Long-term disability insurance, and life insurance Ample parental leave Certification Reimbursement Holidays and Flexible paid time off PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Note: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions as described.
