General Summary: Henry Ford is actively searching for a Director, PostAward & Restricted Fund Accounting. In this role, you will provide enterpriselevel leadership and strategic oversight for all sponsored research financial administration at Henry Ford Health. This includes federal and nonfederal grants, contracts, clinical trials, philanthropic gifts, and internally funded research programs, as well as corporate accounting functions that impact restricted funds. The Director will ensure full compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations; drives financial stewardship across the research enterprise; and serve as a key strategic partner to Research Administration (RA), the Clinical Trials Office (CTO), Development, and other Henry Ford Health and Michigan State University partners. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required Master's degree or CPA strongly preferred. Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or grants management, including significant leadership responsibility. Advanced knowledge of CFR Part 200 and federal grant regulations. Demonstrated expertise in restricted fund accounting, financial reporting, and compliance. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholdermanagement skills, with the ability to influence across complex organizations. Experience partnering with research administration, clinical trials offices, and development/philanthropy teams preferred.
