Team Lead – Benefit Verification (Seasonal) Location: Remote w/Equipment Provided Schedule: M-F | Must be available for an 8 hour shift between 7AM to 7PM CT. Duration: Seasonal - Starting November 2025 Pay Rate: $20/hr.+/- BOE Overview We are seeking a skilled and proactive Team Lead to oversee benefit verification operations within a remote team. This position supports day-to-day task management, coaching, and performance monitoring to ensure high-quality service delivery across healthcare benefit investigations. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, has prior experience in healthcare reimbursement, and enjoys guiding others to success. Key Responsibilities • Direct and guide daily operations for a team of benefit verification specialists. • Coach team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of insurance benefit investigations. • Monitor individual productivity and quality metrics, providing feedback and support as needed. • Collaborate with leadership on training and onboarding initiatives. • Identify workflow challenges and escalate issues when appropriate. • Contribute to the development of internal training materials and best practices. • Perform benefit verifications as needed to support workflow. • Promote open communication and a positive team culture across remote channels. Qualifications • 2+ years of experience in healthcare, insurance, reimbursement services, or a related setting. • Previous exposure to benefit verification or similar processes is strongly preferred. • Experience leading or mentoring remote teams is highly desirable. • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required. Skills & Competencies • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. • Capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. • Familiar with Microsoft Office tools and quick to adapt to new systems. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to support team morale and motivation. Additional Details • Must be flexible for an 8 hour shift between 7AM to 7PM CT, including occasional paid weekends. • Remote position; candidates must have reliable internet and a quiet workspace.
