We are growing and seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Administrative & Billing Support Specialist to support client intake and structured billing workflows. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in clear processes, values organization, and executes tasks accurately and consistently. Compensation & Structure • $19/hour • 1099 Independent Contractor • 40 hours per week • Fully remote (U.S.-based applicants only) What You Will Do Client Intake & Front Desk Support • Manage inbound calls, voicemails, and SMS communication • Guide prospective clients through onboarding and documentation collection • Perform insurance benefit verification • Serve as primary administrative contact for routine client inquiries • Maintain professional, timely communication (within 1 business day) Insurance Billing Support • Submit insurance claims through our EHR within 24 hours • Track claim submission status • Post payments and maintain accurate billing records • Perform insurance verification prior to services • Support collections by sending reminders and coordinating payment plans • Escalate all complex issues to the Practice Manager within 24 hours Administrative Support • Maintain scheduling accuracy • Update spreadsheets and trackers as directed • Maintain organized digital documentation • Provide structured administrative support as assigned Performance Expectations Success in this role means: • Claims submitted within 24 hours • Client messages returned within 1 business day • Denials escalated within 24 hours • Accurate insurance verification • Clean, organized documentation • Strict adherence to HIPAA-compliant communication standards This is a task-execution role. Initiative, reliability, and follow-through are essential.
