We’re looking for a driven Project Manager/Estimator who’s ready to lead projects from bid to completion with accuracy, communication, and pride. What You’ll Do Estimate with precision: Review plans, specs, and site conditions to create detailed takeoffs and accurate cost estimates for commercial epoxy, polished concrete, and underlayment projects. Manage projects start-to-finish: Oversee scheduling, budgets, subcontractors, materials, and client communication to ensure seamless project execution. Be on-site where it matters: Most of our projects are in downtown Chicago and surrounding areas. You’ll be required to visit job sites regularly to assess conditions, meet with clients, coordinate crews, and ensure project quality and progress. Be the point person: Collaborate with general contractors, architects, and facility owners to deliver exceptional results on time and on budget. Lead field coordination: Support foremen and crews with clear direction, proactive problem-solving, and a focus on quality and safety. Drive continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline estimating processes, improve margins, and enhance client satisfaction. What You Bring Experience in flooring, concrete, or construction project management and estimating (epoxy or polishing experience is a major plus). Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and takeoff software. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with precision. A proactive, solution-driven mindset — you don’t wait for problems to come to you. Willingness and ability to travel to project sites throughout downtown Chicago and nearby markets.
