Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants is looking for a Senior Financial Operations Analyst to provide financial insights to the organization through sales and expense trend analysis, development of reporting to assess performance across the P&L, and a focus on profitability through partnering with Operations to improve efficiencies. This role will also perform data management through the application of both existing and new financial systems. This position will be a part of the Finance team and is located at the Restaurant Support Center in Downers Grove, IL. What You Will Succeed: • Analyze business trends and provide timely insights to support the business in delivering against KPIs • Explore and develop new reporting capabilities, and implement new reporting accordingly • Maintaining and updating the Company’s financial forecasts and models • Develop models to generate insights and analyze profit impact of new operational initiatives • Ensure and strengthen the integrity of data and reporting systems • Maintain or update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, and methods • Conduct ad hoc analysis to provide new and different insights into key drivers of business results • Ensure reporting software contains accurate data and serve as a conduit to develop capabilities within the software • Manage timely flow of information and analyses to both Operations and the Restaurant Support Center • Ensure that propriety information and data sources are protected • Act as a representative of the Company, supporting and reinforcing our Core Values What You Will Bring: • Represent and demonstrate the Cooper’s Hawk values • BS in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, or equivalent degree • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel • Passion for the restaurant industry (direct experience not required) • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment • Desire for learning and process improvement • Ability to build rapport within Finance and Operations • Intellectual curiosity and an analytical mind-set • Customer service focused mentality with internal and external partners • Strong planning, organization, and critical thinking skills • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a high level of confidentiality • Excellent written and verbal communication • Ability to establish priorities and work within deadlines Compensation Range: $85,000-$100,000. The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity.
