Your Role in Our Success The Underwriting Administrative Assistant supports underwriters by organizing documentation, entering data, and ensuring application files are complete and compliant. This role helps streamline the review process, communicates with stakeholders, and assists with follow-ups, audits, and quality control tasks. Here’s how you will make an impact: • Provides essential support to underwriters and underwriting teams by managing administrative tasks that help ensure the efficient review and processing of loan, insurance, or credit applications. • Gathers, organizes, and reviews applicant documentation for completeness and accuracy. • Inputs data into underwriting systems and tracking application status throughout the review process. • Prepares files and reports for underwriting decisions and audits; communicating with internal departments, applicants, brokers, or agents to request missing information or clarify documentation. • Maintains up-to-date records in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements. • Schedule meetings, preparing correspondence, and supporting document retention and compliance efforts; and assisting with quality control and follow-up tasks related to approvals, conditions, or denials. • Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Requirements: What You Bring to the Table • 1-3 years of administrative or clerical experience, preferably in a banking, mortgage, insurance, or financial services environment. • High school diploma or equivalent is required. • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
