Job description: Cool Stuff Games - Maitland is looking for an experienced customer service representative to join our team! This position is in a unique, employee-oriented retail environment. Our store houses the largest inventory of card singles in Florida with same-day processing. Our ideal candidate is passionate about customer service and community building, has availability to work late nights (12AM-2AM closes), and must have open availability Friday and Saturday. If you are passionate about customer service and community building, this is the role for you! Minimum Qualifications: Previous customer service and cash handling experience with preference to fast-paced environments. Availability to work late nights, must be available Fridays and Saturdays. Know or learn product information well enough to perform demonstrations with patrons, answer questions, and guide them to the products or experiences they are looking for. Ability to navigate an expansive inventory with attention to detail. Organizational and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with and for diverse, large groups of people. Key Responsibilities: Provide attentive and individualized customer service. Cash handling. Operating a point-of-sales system. Navigating an expansive inventory with attention to detail. Purchasing card singles from customers. Providing an excellent shopping experience that will encourage patrons to return. Assisting patrons with purchases, selling items to us, as well as participants in tournaments. Answering store phone calls. Assisting with the cleanliness of the store. Regularly engage with and attend to merchandising.
