About the Company: The Cook M&A advisory team delivers transaction focused strategic advice to private equity investors, family offices, corporations, executives and owners in buy-side transactions. We work with businesses across all industry sectors and sizes to understand the market, identify potential acquisition targets, assist in due diligence and resolve transaction issues throughout the process. Our company culture is characterized by transparency, flexibility and personal relationships, which has resulted in over 150 successful transactions with enterprise values ranging from $5 million to $5 billion. About the Role: An exciting opportunity is available for a driven and visionary Senior Sales Representative/ Originator (M&A deal origination) to join our growing organization. In this role, you will develop and implement strategies to drive growth and work closely with industry stakeholders to build and maintain relationships with key private equity firms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales/business development, relationship building, excellent client-relationship skills, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced M&A environment. Responsibilities: • Cold-calling and lead generation • Develop and implement strategies to drive growth to meet and exceed client expectations • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including our clients (nationwide private equity firms) • Identify and evaluate new leads with business owners on-behalf of our clients • Provide regular reports on business performance, client satisfaction and market trends to senior management Qualifications: • Degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, Finance, or a related field • Proven track record of successful deal origination and execution • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Ability to think strategically and drive business growth • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Proven track record of managing people, delivering results and driving growth Pay range and compensation package: Base Salary between $125,000 - $150,000 (DOQ) with significant commission based on performance metrics. PLEASE NOTE: This position is located in Chicago, PLEASE DO NOT apply unless you are in the Chicagoland area. Out of state applicants will not be considered unless you are moving to the Chicagoland area. This position is on-site.
