Full Description

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll & Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This part-time role (20–25 hours/week, remote within the U.S.) is responsible for semi-monthly payroll in ADP, accounts payable, reconciliations, billing, and supporting 401(k) funding. You’ll also provide valuable assistance during audit cycles and have the opportunity to help shape and streamline processes as the company continues to scale. As the company grows, this role has the potential to transition into a full-time position. Conversica is a fully remote, U.S.-based SaaS company in the AI tech space. We’re a growing team that values adaptability, collaboration, and proactive problem-solving — and we’re looking for people who want to make a meaningful impact in a high-growth environment. \n What You’ll Do Process semi-monthly payroll in ADP Review and process vendor invoices, set up and maintain vendor records, and schedule payments (ACH, wire, check). Handle employee expense reports and support compliance reviews. Assist with billing, reconciliations, and commission processing. Provide support during audits (401k, financial, compliance). Help streamline processes to improve accuracy and efficiency. What We're Looking For 3–5 years of payroll, accounting, or finance operations experience. Familiarity with ADP (or similar payroll systems) and AP tools like Stampli. Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills. Organized, detail-focused, and able to spot discrepancies quickly. Strong communication skills to work with employees, vendors, and auditors. Able to work independently in a fully remote environment. Committed to maintaining confidentiality with sensitive payroll and financial data. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
