We encourage you to apply and bring your expertise if you're a: · Highly driven: You enjoy helping others, demonstrating resiliency, compassion and applying your enthusiastic work ethic to generate client trust and aid in lead flow · Charismatic person: Your interpersonal skills are top notch, and you're able to apply market insights to assist clients, as well as tailor products and services to meet existing customers' needs · Relationship builder: Your focus is on building strong relationships within our client and network group communities Qualifications Preferred Experience (but not limited to) · Previous employment in a service agent role where you have successfully assisted customers · A state insurance license—or willingness to earn one with Converse Insurance’s training and support—in Property & Casualty Skills · Effective written and oral communication skills · Great interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build rapport with existing customers · Effective time management and organizational skills Knowledge · Ability to learn insurance coverage, underwriting guidelines, and carrier platforms · Familiarity with assisting and growing customer base Education · High School Degree with relevant service experience Responsibilities: · Provides exceptional customer service by responding promptly to all inbound customer and referral partner network calls and emails regarding personal lines policies · Listens to customers' and referral partners’ requests and inquiries. · Works to retain policyholders who inquire about canceling auto policies through open listening, negotiating, and policy review of customer issues. · Escalating issues to appropriate team if necessary. · Processes policyholder transactions accurately and within established time standards. · Understands aspects of billing systems as it pertains to policy coverage. · Identifies and communicates transactions and impact to policy premium. · Evaluates and makes decisions regarding exceptions to payment plan and fees. · Makes alternate payment arrangements with customers and interacts with billing system to reflect arrangements. · Places policy in follow-up and ensures adherence to arrangements specified. · Manages and utilizes time effectively to ensure client satisfaction · Develops and maintains product, procedural and technical systems knowledge. · Looks for opportunities to improve processes within team or department through mentorship · Participate in training of new service agents through job shadowing, work review, coaching and feedback. · Utilizes technical systems, effectively and efficiently, including desktop, phone systems and the internet. · Performs additional duties as assigned.
