Full Description

We are seeking an experienced Windows/Active Directory Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive experience in global customer support and managing large-scale data center technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and be capable of working effectively during US business hours. Key Responsibilities: • Lead Active Directory upgrades, migrations, and overall administration. • Perform Windows OS upgrades (2008/2012 to latest versions) and optimize server performance. • Automate routine tasks using PowerShell to improve operational efficiency. • Manage Azure Active Directory, AD Sync, RDS, Terminal Services, DNS, DHCP, IIS, FTP, and Certificate Services. • Configure and manage Group Policies, login scripts, gMSA accounts, and system registry changes. • Troubleshoot Windows Server performance issues across versions 2012/2016/2019/2022. • Set up and troubleshoot Windows clusters. • Ensure security and compliance of Group Policy Objects, file system, and registry settings. • Deploy, patch, and maintain Windows operating systems, ensuring virus updates and performance tuning are current. • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights to prevent unauthorized access. • Utilize tools like SCOM and SCCM for server monitoring and task scheduling (deployment knowledge preferred but not required). • Manage WSUS-based server patching, troubleshoot failures, and perform pre- and post-patch checks to ensure service continuity. Qualifications: • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Windows Server administration and Active Directory management. • Strong knowledge of large-scale data center environments. • Expertise in automation using PowerShell.
