Senior IT Project Manager Sterling Heights, MI $58–$65/hour Position Overview Seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-level IT projects from initiation through delivery. This role focuses on cross-functional leadership, stakeholder management, and successful execution of projects within scope, schedule, and budget. Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle (planning, execution, delivery) • Manage multiple large-scale IT projects simultaneously • Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables • Develop and maintain project plans and schedules • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies • Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders and leadership • Ensure adherence to project management best practices and standards • Drive process improvements and operational efficiency • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams Required Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field • 7–10+ years of project management experience • 3+ years in a senior/leadership role Key Skills • Project methodologies: Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid • Tools: MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet (or similar) • Strong stakeholder and customer management • Risk management, budgeting, and scheduling • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills Preferred Qualifications • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification • Experience supporting IT projects in manufacturing environments • Familiarity with change management practices Key Competencies • Leadership & decision-making • Strategic thinking with attention to detail • Adaptability in fast-paced environments • Results-driven mindset Work Environment • Sterling Heights, MI (Hybrid/Office-based) Why Join CPI?
