Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Recruiter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of engineering, industrial, and technical services sectors, with a strong preference for those familiar with the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, Military Sealift Command, and Department of Defense (DoD) organizations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Talent Acquisition and Strategy Development: • Develop and implement recruitment strategies tailored to the specific needs of our niche sectors. • Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates to meet both current and anticipated business needs. Sourcing and Engagement: • Use a mix of traditional and innovative methods to identify and attract potential candidates. • Build and maintain networks through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and other channels. Candidate Evaluation: • Conduct thorough screening processes to assess the qualifications, experience, and cultural fit of potential candidates. • Coordinate and oversee the interview process, ensuring all stakeholders are appropriately prepared and informed. Relationship Management: • Foster long-term relationships with potential candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience regardless of hiring outcome. • Engage with hiring managers to understand departmental needs, providing updates and feedback throughout the recruitment process. Industry Expertise: • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, changes, and requirements within the sectors of focus. • Attend industry conferences, workshops, and other events to ensure continuous learning and network growth. Administrative Duties: • Maintain accurate and organized records of all candidates, hiring manager interactions, and other recruitment activities. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company-specific regulations related to hiring and employment. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in recruiting, with a strong emphasis on programmatic, engineering, industrial, and technical services recruitment. • Demonstrable experience recruiting for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, Military Sealift Command, and Department of Defense (DoD) organizations is preferred. • Construction and/or Project Management recruiting experience is a plus. • Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
