Job Summary We are seeking an Portfolio Manager/ Program Manager to provide engineering document workflow management and process improvements to our key transportation infrastructure client. The Portfolio Manager/ Program Manager will be responsible for performing and bringing leadership in implementing processes around engineering records and document management overseeing a team of sharepoint developers, technical support staff and document controls professionals. This role requires excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders, develop and grow relationships among our partners. We are looking for professionals with strong experience in project management, document controls, and process improvement. The Program Manager role will entail managing a portfolio of initiatives around improving documentation management systems, workflows, engineering system upgrades, metadata improvements, template restructuring and platform enhancements on sharepoint. This position will focus on managing SharePoint document exchange processes, workflow integration and improvements, developing metadata models, implementing improved permission structures and working with sharepoint developers to build out a robust approach to the client's engineering and construction document controls processes. What You Will Do • Oversee a team of sharepoint developers, operational, document control and technical staff to support client wide document management, workflows and processes for Construction and Engineering documentation exchange • Implement sharepoint standard structures for folder systems, templates, libraries, metadata • Monitor and maintain performance standards for Engineering document repositories, and implement processes around maintaining compliance of metadata • Implement improvements to engineering document controls workflows and processes • Manage client wide sharepoint site • Implement processes around document permissions, publishing rights, and content management • Translate business and process requirements of the client/stakeholders and drive operational improvements to processes • Build towards driving client's strategic documentation and content governance solutions • Manage a portfolio of initiatives around improving documentation management systems, workflows, engineering system upgrades, metadata improvements, template restructuring and platform enhancements on sharepoint What We Are Looking For • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Information Technology • Proven experience in construction and engineering document controls • Experience on mission critical sectors (i.e. construction, transportation, aviation, pharma, etc) a plus • Expert skills using MS Office 365 tools, enterprise content management systems such as openText • Experience using SharePoint, experience with SharePoint site development • Public agency or utility experience • Experience and skills in process improvement, spearheading initiatives around implementing new processes and ensuring governance across stakeholders • Leadership and people management skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: Hybrid remote in Jersey City, NJ 07306
