Title: Senior OTM Technical-Functional Analyst Location: 100% Remote Target Start Date: asap Type: CTH Pay Rate / Salary :$65 - $77/HR | $100-$125K Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Technical-Functional Analyst to play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing advanced solutions for transportation and logistics systems. This position requires deep expertise in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), strong technical development capabilities, and the ability to collaborate across operations, business, and IT teams to ensure optimal system integration, performance, and reliability. Key Responsibilities • Configure, enhance, and optimize OTM components including agents, workflows, statuses, and route groups. • Develop advanced PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, queries, triggers, and perform database performance tuning. • Integrate OTM with external systems using web services, XML, middleware platforms, ELD/telematics solutions, and APIs. • Monitor OTM servers and environments, resolving issues related to application performance, logs, threading, and system stability. • Perform root cause analysis for performance bottlenecks within workflows, agents, and integrations. • Diagnose and resolve thread management issues, agent delays, deadlocks, and contention within OTM. • Conduct database tuning, query optimization, and table/index maintenance to improve OTM performance. • Collaborate with DBAs and system administrators on server load balancing, patching, upgrades, and capacity planning. • Apply strong transportation and fleet domain expertise, including truckload operations, dispatch, compliance, and asset utilization. • Develop and support dashboards, analytics, and reporting using BI Publisher and Tableau. • Perform fit-gap analysis and design scalable, low-customization OTM fleet solutions aligned with business needs. Requirements • 7+ years of hands-on Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) development experience. • Deep understanding of OTM data structures, fleet-specific tables, driver/asset workflows, and transaction lifecycles. • Proven proficiency in OTM configuration—agents, workflow logic, automation, and event triggers. • Strong background in OTM environment optimization and server performance tuning. • Advanced PL/SQL debugging, query optimization, and handling of high-volume OTM transactions. • Ability to analyze and resolve thread contention, deadlocks, queue/agent delays, and integration failures. • Experience in OTM scalability planning, performance testing, and environment resilience. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex OTM, integration, and infrastructure issues.
