Overview Consilio is pioneering the development of artificial intelligence in the context of eDiscovery and is dedicated to transforming the way people and organizations interact with technology. The Data Analytics Consultant and Prompt Engineer is highly skilled, creative and responsible for designing, testing, and refining prompts and custom solutions. They must be detail oriented, self-driven, and exhibit extensive written and verbal communication skills. They will work closely with our AI development team to ensure the highest standards of accuracy, relevance, and user engagement. Ideally a prompt engineer is familiar with the eDiscovery industry, adept at using platforms such as Relativity and Brainspace, and fluent in Python. Prompt Engineers are consultants who work with clients to understand matter needs, propose project specific solutions and workflows, and work with clients to execute the solution. Essential Characteristics: Independent contributor able to self-initiate, in a collaborative team of independent contributors Consultative nature valuing provision of accurate and helpful information Curiosity and interest in questioning irregularities and investigating outputs Attention to detail, recognize value of accuracy and quality Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, balancing creativity with defensible repeatable process Responsibilities Collaborate with Development; Research and Innovate Work closely with AI researchers, data scientists, and software developers to continually improve technology output and experience Provide auxiliary support to the Consilio Innovation team Engage stakeholders to understand requirements and gather feedback for improvement Provide regular reports on prompt performance and improvement initiatives Design/Develop/Test/Optimize/Validate Workflow Offerings Document prompt development processes, testing methodologies, and results Rigorously test workflows and coding to evaluate performance, recall, and precision Present internally and externally as an SME on analytics and prompt engineering Track metrics, including billing time entry, in line with team expectations Consult, Execute, and Validate Case Specific Workflows Refine offerings as needed for specific client cases and inquiries Develop contextually appropriate prompts and coding based on case and client goals Use data-driven insights to iteratively improve prompt and code results Confirm and QA results via complex Relativity searching Convey complex concepts to non-technical clients, communicating clearly and frequently Qualifications Minimum Education Requirements: [once finalized, this section should not be changed for job posting] Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Linguistics, or related field D. or Paralegal Certificate preferred Minimum Experience Requirements: [once finalized, this section should not be changed for job posting] 4 Other Requirements: Experience in the eDiscovery industry and with the Relativity UI Experience in technology assisted review (TAR), natural language processing (NLP), and/or AI-driven conversational systems Experience with prompt engineering and optimization for large language models Proficiency in programming languages such as Python Understanding of data analysis and performance metrics Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Suite Industry certifications Data Analytics Team Core Values ExpertiseWe exemplify mastery + curiosity + accuracy and demonstrate knowledge across tools and workflows.
