Candidates should have a technical education or engineering degree and at least 3 to 5 years of professional technical sales experience. Proficiency in ERP and CRM software, along with product management experience, is also required.
Client Overview: Our client is a multinational corporation in the Industrial Manufacturing sector, seeking a Refrigeration Sales Engineer to join their team. Job title: Refrigeration Sales Engineer Mission: The Refrigeration Sales Engineer is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. This individual will also serve and grow the existing customer base, and support the entire sales process by account and carry out sales plans according to group strategy and vision. Key Responsibilities: Visit customers and technical conferences in-person to develop, monitor and manage opportunities and give technical presentations. Establish new and maintain existing relationships with customers, growing gross margin where possible. Identify and obtain technical customer requirements, develop and execute strategies to win new business from commercial refrigeration end-users, agents, contractors, OEM’s and system integrators. Develop and drive pricing and rebate strategies per account. Provide pre-and-post sales technical assistance to customers Drive creative solutions to minimize the importance of price and maximize the differentiated values of the product Support accounts receivables to ensure customer payments and participate in developing credit terms as needed. Participate in the annual budget setting process and be able to comment on relative prospects Ethically report regularly on market trends, competition strategies and customer behaviors which may affect business strategies and on quotation & project potential Qualifications and Skills: Technical education or bachelor’s engineering degree Product management and product launch experience Proficiency with state-of-the-art ERP software (our client runs SAP) and CRM software. At least 3 to 5 years of professional technical sales experience with a manufacturer, contractor, system integrator or relevant end-user.
