Position Summary The Project Manager will provide project and personnel leadership for multiple clients throughout the US and Internationally on multiple consulting projects. The Project Manager is instrumental in the success of client delivery and presentation, supporting account management, and client satisfaction. The Manager assumes accountability for delivering requirements of the agreed-upon Statement of Work (SOW) and identifying future business development opportunities. The UKG Project Manager will oversee and manage the successful assessment, implementation, configuration, and optimization of UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) solutions within Connors Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing client relationships, ensuring timelines are met, proactively managing the project budgets and forecast, and delivering high-quality results for HR, payroll, and workforce management projects powered by UKG technology. Responsible for completing the project to our client’s satisfaction and meet project metrics, on time and within budget • Manages relationships with clients and internal stakeholders • Presents deliverables to client and provides change management expertise in implementation of solution • Develops and manages project budget and project deadlines; identifies and mitigates engagement risks • Ability to quickly understand all client industries, environments, and ability to create strategies and implementation plans that align with the client and project goals • Develops a clear understanding of each clients' business and how our services can improve operations; guides teams to focus on what matters and develops meaningful business relationships with clients Practice Development • Provides supporting Account Management with existing clients through identification of additional business opportunities and develop project proposals and presentations as requested • Keeps up to date with new trends in WFM technologies that bring value for our clients’ businesses • Actively participate in trade shows, networking and recruiting opportunities as requested • Leads internal process improvement initiatives to better support the practice People Development • Coaches and develops project team by providing proper support and direction, from a project and the ability to provide and engage in feedback, performance, and personal development conversations • Responsible for creating objectives for project team members and evaluating project performance and provide feedback at the end of a project Business Administration • Responsible for self-time management, progress reporting of deliverables to Account Manager and to stay productive whether onsite with a team, by yourself or working remotely • Develops comprehensive presentations at the appropriate level of detail • Demonstrates the role of the professional consultant and the technical skills required to be an effective IT Project Manager. • Demonstrates initiative, responsibility, and analytical thinking • Demonstrates understanding of project management methodologies including Waterfall and Agile strategies. • Demonstrates strong PowerPoint and Excel-based abilities to summarize and effectively communicate project status and supporting statistics. Project Planning & Management: • Lead and manage end-to-end UKG implementation projects, from initial scoping and design through to go-live and post-implementation support. • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring clear communication of milestones and deadlines to stakeholders. • Coordinate resources, tasks, and timelines, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Stakeholder Engagement: • Serve as the main point of contact for clients and internal teams, providing regular updates on project status, potential risks, and changes. • Collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure all project requirements are understood and met. • Facilitate project meetings, discussions, and workshops to ensure all parties are aligned. Risk & Issue Management: • Identify and manage project risks and issues proactively, taking steps to mitigate any potential delays or challenges. • Escalate issues to senior leadership when necessary and recommend solutions. Configuration & Optimization: • Oversee the working sessions, configuration of UKG solutions based on client needs and ensure they are optimized to deliver maximum value. • Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure the systems are integrated with existing workflows and systems. Quality Assurance: • Monitor project performance and quality, ensuring deliverables meet business requirements and align with best practices. Qualifications • Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, IT Project Management, Human Resources or equivalent • Proven experience (6+ years) in project management, specifically with UKG/Workforce Management or HRIS implementations. • Familiarity with UKG products, including UKG Pro, UKG Dimensions, or other UKG workforce management solutions. • UKG-related certifications (e.g., UKG Pro Certified, UKG Dimensions Certified) are a plus. • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholder expectations. • Strong project management skills, with proficiency in project management tools and methodologies. • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills. • Ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Knowledge of HR, payroll, and workforce management processes. • Knowledge of Industrial Engineering principles is a plus • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to drive deadlines on multiple projects • Strong understanding of project budgets, travel expense policy, travel coordination • Knowledge of change management principles, ability to create influence in implementing recommended solutions • Knowledge of and experience in implementing end-to-end project solutions, including industry and customer research, creating strategy and project vision, design and development of solution meeting SOW, and associated change management practices • Demonstrated leadership – with internal teams and clients, maintaining a positive attitude • Demonstrated ability to assess and solve problems • Knowledge of performance management programs and practices, provides project performance feedback • Strong work ethic and capability to work independently • Detail-oriented to ensure implementation success • The ability to multi-task effectively, leading multiple projects simultaneously • Excellent knowledge of MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook Working conditions Primary work environment is either at a Connors Group office or a Home Office. When Consultants are working from home, they are expected to set up and maintain a quiet, productive workspace with an appropriate workstation, a high-speed internet connection, and phone or cell phone connection, a printer, and all other necessary office supplies. • Travels occasionally (up to 25%), and often independently, throughout the US and Internationally • Flexibility to work alternative hours, including evenings and weekends as needed by our clients This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
