Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing industrial printers, focusing on mechanical components rather than software. Your expertise will ensure minimal downtime for our clients and contribute to their operational efficiency. What You'll Do: - You will provide on-site mechanical repair and maintenance services for industrial printers. - You will diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to quickly restore printer functionality. - You will communicate effectively with customers to explain technical problems and solutions. - You will maintain accurate service records and report on job status. - You will collaborate with the technical support team to escalate complex issues. - You will ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during service calls. - You will manage your schedule efficiently to cover the Dallas/Fort Worth service area. What You Bring: - You have at least 3 years of experience in mechanical repair, preferably with industrial printers or similar equipment. - You possess strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. - You have excellent customer service and communication abilities. - You hold a valid driver’s license and are able to travel within the Dallas/Fort Worth region. - You are capable of working independently and managing your time effectively. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with industrial printing equipment specifically. - Technical certifications related to mechanical repair or industrial machinery. - Familiarity with safety regulations in industrial environments. - Basic knowledge of electrical systems related to mechanical devices.
