Bachelor's degree in engineering with experience or knowledge in manufacturing engineering, estimating, and ability to read engineering drawings.
Our client a manufacture of small stamped and formed sheet metal components and springs is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineer / Estimator to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong engineering background with stamping tooling and manufacturing experience, preferably with small metal stamping and or spring manufacturing. Key Responsibilities • Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations based on customer drawings, specifications, and requirements • Analyze materials, labor, tooling, and production processes to determine pricing • Collaborate with engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure feasible and competitive bids • Review customer RFQs and technical documentation • Assist with process improvement, cost reduction initiatives, and engineering support as needed • Maintain estimating databases and documentation Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience • Experience in estimating and/or manufacturing engineering with stamping of small sheet metal components and or spring fabrication experience preferred. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems • Excellent communication and organizational skills Company DescriptionManufacture of electronic connectors for the electronics industry.
