Position Summary The Recruiter & Learning and Development Specialist plays a dual role in our HR department — driving end-to-end recruitment efforts while designing and delivering training programs that support employee engagement and performance. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong interest in employee development. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (50%) • Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs and create effective sourcing strategies. • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process — from job posting and candidate sourcing to interviews, offers, and onboarding. • Source candidates using multiple channels (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, community outreach, etc.). • Screen applicants for cultural fit, skill alignment, and long-term potential. • Maintain accurate recruiting metrics and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process. Learning & Development (50%) • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning priorities across departments. • Design, coordinate, and deliver engaging training sessions — both in-person and virtual. • Develop onboarding materials, employee handbooks, and career development resources. • Track training participation, evaluate effectiveness, and make recommendations for improvement. • Support leadership development, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 2+ years of experience in recruitment, learning and development, or HR generalist roles. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. • Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail. • Experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design is a plus.
