Our client in Chicago, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Change Management to lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives This individual will partner with senior leadership to drive organizational adoption of new technologies, processes, and regulatory frameworks, ensuring seamless transitions that support business objectives and client service excellence. The VP will oversee the design and execution of change management strategies, with a strong focus on digital adoption platforms (WalkMe) and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to enable scalable, data-driven training and support. Key Responsibilities • Change Leadership & Strategy • Lead the change management function across enterprise initiatives, including digital transformation, process optimization, and compliance-driven change. • Develop and implement change frameworks, stakeholder engagement plans, and communication strategies tailored to financial services organizations. • Partner with executive leadership to align transformation initiatives with business goals and cultural priorities. • Digital Adoption (WalkMe) • Drive adoption of WalkMe to simplify system navigation and improve user experience across enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM, trading, and compliance tools). • Create in-app guidance, workflows, and analytics dashboards to measure adoption, identify friction points, and accelerate proficiency. • Collaborate with IT and operations to integrate WalkMe solutions into transformation programs. • Learning & Development (LMS) • Oversee the design and deployment of role-specific training programs using Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone, Workday Learning, or similar). • Ensure training content aligns with regulatory standards and industry best practices. • Monitor LMS analytics to track employee progress, identify knowledge gaps, and continuously improve training effectiveness. • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication • Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, ensuring buy-in and support for large-scale initiatives. • Design and deliver communication strategies that clearly articulate the “why” behind change. • Coach leaders and managers to effectively sponsor and reinforce organizational change. • Governance & Measurement • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure adoption, engagement, and impact of change initiatives. • Provide regular reporting and insights to executive leadership on progress, risks, and lessons learned. • Ensure compliance with regulatory change management requirements in the financial services industry. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Organizational Development, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. • 6+ years of progressive experience in change management, organizational development, or transformation leadership, with at least 5 years in the financial services industry. • Proven track record of leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives with measurable impact. • Expertise in WalkMe digital adoption tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS) required. • Strong understanding of financial services operations, regulatory environments, and client service expectations. • Exceptional communication, influencing, and executive stakeholder management skills. • Certification in Prosci, CCMP, or equivalent change management methodology preferred.
