Senior Vice President, Design and Merchandising Apparel & Fashion The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Design and Merchandising for its swimwear category. This pivotal role is focused on driving the creative and commercial vision, with a strong emphasis on leading cross-functional teams to deliver designs that are both performance-driven and resonate with a global customer base. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and leading the product and merchandising strategy, ensuring it aligns with brand goals and financial targets. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in design and/or merchandising, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role within the apparel or sporting goods industry. A deep understanding of the swim, surf, or activewear markets, including expertise in materials, technology, and consumer behavior, is essential. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in managing large, multi-disciplinary teams, driving product strategy on a global scale, and a strong commercial acumen. Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills are a must, as is a passion for design, innovation, and creating products that inspire confidence and performance.
