Vice President, Planning and Inventory Management About the Company Rapidly growing premium kitchenware company Industry Retail Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a VP of Global Planning and Inventory Management to spearhead its Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and enhance supply chain operations. This strategic leadership role involves leading and mentoring demand and supply planning teams, managing the end-to-end S&OP process, and ensuring alignment across various functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for using data analytics to improve forecasting and replenishment strategies, developing inventory strategies that align with business goals, and mitigating risks such as product obsolescence and supply disruptions. Collaboration with international manufacturing partners and logistics teams is also a key aspect of the role, as is driving continuous improvement initiatives. Applicants for the VP of Global Planning and Inventory Management position at the company should hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, finance, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred.
