Vice President, Electric Utilities About the Company Acclaimed engineering & consulting firm specializing in power & utilities Industry Management Consulting Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President for Electric Utilities to play a pivotal role in the strategic expansion and growth of its utility business. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving aggressive revenue growth, developing and executing business strategies, and securing multi-year partnerships with large utility players. This role demands a leader with a strong technical background in substation, transmission, and high-voltage systems, as well as a proven track record in engineering leadership and a high EQ leadership style focused on mentorship and team morale. The VP will be expected to build and scale systems, teams, and processes to ensure consistent quality and to partner with sales and business development to shape the company's market approach and long-term roadmap. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in an engineering leadership role, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (PE preferred). The role requires a leader with strong commercial acumen, P&L oversight, and a successful background in business development. The ideal candidate will be adept at leading large, multi-disciplinary teams, and be capable of balancing technical rigor with commercial and people leadership.
