Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Shipper to join their team. As a Shipper, you will be part of the Logistics Department supporting the Shipping and Receiving team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Shipper Location: Hamilton, OH Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour Shift: 1st Shift (Monday-Thursday, 6am-4pm) What's the Job? • Inspect and verify all shipping and receiving orders to ensure accuracy of shipments. • Maintain and request supplies for the shipping and receiving area as needed. • Maintain and process records related to all shipping and receiving activities. • Set up and operate equipment such as postage, UPS, and Fed-Ex machines. • Ensure proper packaging methods are used and follow all export procedures. What's Needed? • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills typically acquired through a high school diploma or GED. • At least 1 year of experience in a similar environment or six months as Shipping and Receiving Clerk. • Knowledge of traffic management and export procedures. • Ability to read and interpret shop orders and shipping instructions. • Ability to operate forklift and other transportation equipment as needed.
