The right candidate will bring a wealth of expertise in project management, with a proven ability to navigate all phases of clinical-stage programs, especially those transitioning from early development to Phase 2. We are looking for an innovative strategist with exceptional communication and organizational skills to unify cross-functional teams and propel therapeutic candidates toward successful regulatory approval and commercialization. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the execution of clinical development programs, managing project workflows from strategic planning to operational implementation, ensuring clinical trials meet timelines, budgetary requirements, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain a comprehensive, data-driven portfolio strategy. • Lead portfolio review processes and assess both internal programs and external opportunities. • Direct key development programs and drive the creation of integrated, cross-functional program plans. • Establish and uphold transparent reporting systems for stakeholders. • Build and mentor a high-performing Program Management and Portfolio Management function. • Implement best practices and cultivate a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess an advanced degree in a scientific or medical discipline relevant to drug development and a solid 15+ years of experience in biotech or pharmaceuticals, particularly in the therapeutic areas of inflammation, fibrosis, immunology, and/or neurosciences. Demonstrable experience managing programs from Pre-IND through Phase 3 registrational trials is essential; familiarity with pulmonary fibrosis is a plus.
