Description: As a Senior Software Analyst on the Cloud Data Engineering team, you will be responsible for evaluating business requests to determine feasibility, identifying options, and recommending solutions for software development or enhancements. You will assist with interpreting customer requirements into conceptual and logical design specifications. You will play a role in shaping product design by gathering, interpreting, reviewing, validating, documenting, and maintaining business and functional requirements across our data environment to support product development. This will also include using SQL queries to perform gap/risk analysis and functional testing to support our products. At times, you will provide support and troubleshoot the team’s applications and products.You will assist with developing interfaces and prototypes, recommending changes to meet requirements, and researching and documenting application/services issues. You will be in a position to provide instruction and guidance to less senior team members on new tasks and assignments.Additionally, you will be involved in data mapping. This is essential for various data management tasks, such as data migration, integration, transformation, and warehousing.In this role, you will be asked to research and present information in response to questions related to business standards. You may participate in testing, identifying potential problems and researching opportunities to minimize complexity. You will actively investigate, interpret, collaborate, understand and document the application/service functionality from the business perspective.
