We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Operations Manager to be the site leader for a new facility in Union City, Georgia. Your Role You will have oversight of the facility and ensure the full and efficient operation of your site. Your key responsibilities will include staffing, warehouse operations, budgeting, P&Ls, and customer service. We will count on your years of experience in distribution management, succession planning, building bench strength, and continuous improvement projects to ensure operational excellence and supreme customer service. The right candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset and a tendency towards 5S in the workplace. Description • You will establish long-range labor needs based on sales forecasts • Lead and drive a culture where diversity, equity, and inclusion work together to create a sense of belonging and a stronger workforce • Ensure compliance with the implementation of quality, safety, and security • Implement processes for the maintenance of the building, equipment, housekeeping, and sanitation programs • Collaborate with your management team to establish goals • Lead Supervisory personnel to achieve prescribed goals • Control and direct transportation in and out of the warehouse to meet company standards • Support Production Department Managers to develop a smooth flow of inventory into the warehouse for both shipping and storage • Set up the standard training program for all levels of employees involved in the operations • Complete annual performance reviews • Develop and grow the skills of your team and build bench strength Qualifications • Must be a U.S. Citizen • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • 10+ years in a distribution environment • 7+ years as a manager in a distribution environment; 3PL experience is strongly preferred • 5+ years of WMS experience • 2+ years of experience with leading and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Continuous Process Improvement • Experience embracing/supporting DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) programs Reasons to Join There has never been a better time to work in logistics.
