Senior Manager, Learning & Development We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader to build and scale innovative learning solutions across a multi-location operation in the Western U.S. This role is critical in strengthening workforce capability, improving engagement, and aligning development programs with organizational goals. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, influences stakeholders at all levels, and ensures training initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes Key Responsibilities Learning Strategy & Execution • Develop and scale enterprise-wide learning programs that strengthen performance and engagement across a distributed workforce. • Align training efforts with key business strategies to ensure relevance and impact. Team Leadership & Development • Lead and mentor a team of training professionals, building their skills and driving consistent, high-quality execution across multiple locations. • Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and coach facilitators to deliver exceptional training experiences. Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement • Leverage data and performance metrics to assess program effectiveness and refine learning solutions for maximum impact. Operational Integration & Best Practices • Collaborate with leaders to integrate training into daily operations, improving consistency, compliance, and efficiency • Support workforce enablement during site expansions, acquisitions, and change initiatives. Travel • Regular travel is required, with most weeks spent visiting regional locations. Qualifications • Professional Background: Minimum 3 years designing and executing large-scale development programs; expertise in adult learning and instructional design required. Experience supporting manufacturing, logistics, or other operational workforces preferred. • Leadership Experience: 5+ years in a management role, with a track record of leading distributed teams and influencing at multiple levels of the business. • Core Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and change leadership abilities; strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment. Six Sigma or process improvement certification a plus. • Technical: Content authoring tool experience, Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Synthesia, Smartsheet, Google or similar applications; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required. Experience with AI-assisted content creation a plus. • Mindset: Passionate about talent development, process optimization, and enabling operational excellence.
