The successful candidate will work closely with the General Counsel and Executive Director, Associate General Counsel, in a high-visibility role that involves supporting cross-functional teams. The primary focus of this position is on the full spectrum of contract management, including the preparation, negotiation, and execution of various agreements with a range of stakeholders. This role also includes providing legal counsel, participating in strategic discussions, and ensuring that contracts align with the company's objectives while minimizing risk. Applicants must have a Juris Doctor degree, a minimum of 6-10 years' of legal experience, and a strong background in drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements. In-house legal experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or biopharmaceutical industry is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing contract processes, using CLM tools, and experience with legal tech and AI applications. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure. Experience in FDA regulatory and quality assurance matters is preferred.
