Job Summary • Base salary + Performance bonus+ Commission We are seeking an experienced Operations & Sales Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our growing dumpster rental and waste disposal business. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient maintenance, and compliance while leading a team of drivers, dispatchers, and yard personnel. Key Responsibilities • Oversee a fleet of roll-off trucks and containers (10–40 yard dumpsters) • Supervise drivers, dispatchers, mechanics, and yard staff; conduct hiring, training, and performance reviews • Ensure all equipment is maintained, inspected, and compliant with DOT and OSHA regulations • Monitor inventory of dumpsters and schedule repairs, painting, and refurbishment • Coordinate with landfills, transfer stations, and recycling facilities • Implement and enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings • Optimize operational efficiency to reduce costs and improve customer turnaround times • Resolve customer service issues related to delivery delays, damaged driveways, overweight containers, etc. • Prospect daily via cold calling, door-knocking construction sites, networking events, and digital leads • Build and maintain a pipeline of contractors, builders, roofers, demolition companies, property managers, and event organizers • Conduct on-site visits to job sites and present tailored waste solutions • Prepare and send quotes quickly and follow up aggressively • Close new accounts and expand services within existing accounts • Attend local builder association meetings, trade shows, and home shows • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas (tons booked, new accounts, revenue) • Work closely with operations/dispatch to ensure excellent customer experience and retention Requirements • 2+ years of operations or logistics management experience (waste industry, trucking, construction, or equipment rental strongly preferred) • Proven leadership and team management skills • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, weight limits, and permitting • Understanding with routing/dispatch software • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle weekend/on-call duties as needed • Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus but not required Compensation & Benefits • Base salary + Performance bonus+ Commission • Health, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) with company match up to 3% • Paid time off and holidays • Company vehicle & Fuel Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Application Question(s): • Do you have any experience in the waste industry?
