Job Summary We are seeking a Product Specialist team member for the Content Operations department. This candidate will play a key function in the fast-paced development, realization, and launch of the product vision and strategy. This would involve creating product part numbers, collecting accompanying data/assets and distributing these products across the proper channels. This Product Specialist will be partnering cross-functionally with internal teams in Marketing, Product Line Management, Engineering, Tech Support, and Sales. To be successful in this role, the candidate will be self-motivated, energetic, organized, detail oriented, flexible, and have a passion for new technology. Duties/Responsibilities: • Learn and understand fiber optics, networking, and hardware concepts/technologies applicable to new product considerations • Create part numbers for our multiple brands and business segments while maintaining a strict and consistent part numbering methodology/schema • Use templated import sheets to create products along with their accompanying technical specifications in the content management and ERP systems • Fulfill product creation requests from sales through Salesforce • Ensure that the company's Content Management System (CMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems have the correct and most updated information for our products • Ensure all products for assigned product categories have all necessary content, such as digital assets, datasheets associated with them • Ensure products for assigned product categories are set up correctly and completely at distribution • Provide subject matter expertise to internal teams on the technical details of assigned product categories Supervisory Responsibilities: • This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications and Experience: • Extreme proficiency in MS Excel using functions, formulas and large datasets • SQL experience preferred • Keen understanding of data hierarchy and data integrity • Experience using platforms such as a CMS, CRMs and ERP systems • Understanding fiber optics technology would be a plus • Ability to plan and prioritize workload daily • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Extreme attention to detail • Data gathering and data manipulation skills • Project Management skills • Knowledge of datacenter networking technology • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or two to three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Pay Transparency: The starting salary for this opportunity ranges from $20-$40 per hour. Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance.
