Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Sales – Client Intake to lead our sales initiatives and drive growth through strategic client acquisition. This leadership role requires a strong background in outside sales, business development, and management, with a focus on B2B sales within technology and related sectors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation, analysis skills, and a customer-centric approach to foster long-term relationships and expand our market presence. As a key member of the executive team, you will oversee sales strategies, manage high-performing teams, and ensure the successful onboarding of new clients to support our company's growth objectives. Responsibilities • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to increase client intake and revenue growth. • Lead and manage the sales team, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to ensure achievement of sales targets. • Drive outside sales efforts by building relationships with prospective clients through networking, industry events, and direct outreach. • Manage B2B sales processes from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring alignment with marketing initiatives and business goals. • Oversee the entire client onboarding process, ensuring seamless integration and satisfaction during initial engagement phases. • Utilize Salesforce and other CRM tools to track sales activities, analyze data trends, and generate reports for executive review. • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support business development efforts. • Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to maximize value for both parties while maintaining strong customer relationships. • Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion within existing or new sectors. • Foster a culture of excellence in customer service, ensuring client needs are met promptly and professionally. Qualifications • Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales with a track record of exceeding targets. • Strong management skills with experience leading sales teams in a fast-paced environment. • Expertise in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for pipeline management and analysis. • Excellent negotiation skills coupled with strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. • Background in marketing, technical sales, or business development preferred. • Demonstrated ability to analyze market data and develop actionable insights. • Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration across departments. • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills—both verbal and written. • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
