Full Description

Job Purpose We are seeking a results-oriented National E-Commerce Account Manager to lead our business with Home Depot and Lowe’s online platforms. This role is responsible for driving revenue, profitability, and operational excellence with these critical partners. The Account Manager will serve as the primary business contact for Home Depot and Lowe’s, developing joint business plans, leveraging retailer-specific platforms, and executing initiatives that accelerate sales and strengthen our category presence. Key Responsibilities Account Strategy & Ownership • Build and execute annual and seasonal account strategies for Home Depot and Lowe’s digital businesses, aligning with each retailer’s growth priorities and category goals. • Serve as the primary point of contact for merchants, marketing, Pro Desk, and site merchandising teams at both retailers. • Negotiate promotional funding, media packages, and merchandising opportunities to drive traffic and conversion. Home Depot E-Commerce Management • Manage daily operations through Home Depot Supplier Hub, Item Data Management (IDM), and Content Hub (Insite). • Partner with merchants and Home Depot Pro Desk teams to execute promotions, drive adoption of Pro customer programs, and support category initiatives. • Leverage Home Depot Orange Apron to develop campaigns that drive visibility while balancing ROAS and profitability. • Oversee compliance with HD Content Standards (A+ content, videos, imagery, enhanced PDPs) and resolve chargebacks or data integrity issues quickly. Lowe’s E-Commerce Management • Manage all product data, content, and pricing through Lowe’s SIF (Supplier Information Form) and Item Data Portal (IDP). • Collaborate with merchants and Lowe’s Pro Desk teams to support Pro-focused campaigns, targeted product assortments, and job-site relevant solutions. • Partner with Lowe’s to execute digital media campaigns and seasonal promotions. • Ensure content excellence on Lowe’s.com through enhanced PDP assets, A+ content, and variation structures. Performance Management • Track weekly performance against sales, traffic, conversion, and margin targets. • Conduct A/B testing for pricing, promotions, and PDP content to identify best practices. • Monitor and optimize Orange Apron and Lowe’s campaigns, delivering ROI analysis and scaling winning tactics. Content & Merchandising Excellence • Partner with internal creative and product teams to deliver high-impact, retailer-compliant content. • Conduct regular digital shelf audits across HomeDepot.com and Lowes.com to identify gaps, errors, or opportunities for competitive differentiation. • Lead new item setup, ensuring flawless launches with complete and optimized content across both retailers’ systems. Inventory, Fulfillment & Operations • Partner with supply chain teams to maintain in-stock performance, forecast demand, and avoid aged inventory exposure. • Resolve chargebacks, shortages, and fulfillment challenges proactively, ensuring compliance with Home Depot RDC/Direct Fulfillment and Lowe’s Distribution Center requirements. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Product Development, and Supply Chain teams to align inventory, promotional, and operational strategies. Analytics & Reporting • Provide weekly and monthly performance reporting with insights on sales drivers, margin pressures, and competitive benchmarks. • Deliver retailer-specific scorecards (HD Supplier Scorecard, Lowe’s Vendor Scorecard) and action plans to improve performance. • Translate data into actionable recommendations for leadership and cross-functional partners. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. Experience: • 3–5 years of e-commerce account management with direct Home Depot and/or Lowe’s experience required. • Demonstrated success managing large-scale accounts ($20M+ preferred). • Hands-on experience with Home Depot Supplier Hub, IDM, Content Hub, and Orange Apron, and Lowe’s digital media platform. • Proven ability to collaborate with Pro Desk teams to drive contractors and trade professional engagement. • Familiarity with Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair, or other major e-commerce platforms a plus. Skills & Tools: • Strong proficiency with analytics platforms (Google Analytics, vendor portals, BI dashboards). • Expertise in SEO, SEM, and retail media campaign optimization. • ERP/PIM experience (NetSuite, Salsify strongly preferred). Key Competencies • Strategic and analytical thinker with a commercial mindset. • Customer-centric approach with proven ability to influence merchants and Pro Desk teams. • Strong relationship builder with negotiation and presentation skills. • Thrives in fast-paced environments with a high sense of urgency and ownership. Additional Requirements • Willingness to travel for account meetings, line reviews, and trade shows.
