Medical Front Desk Administrator Bilingual abilities Spanish Glendale | Full-time | Monday–Friday Direct Hire HIRE FAST $18.00–$24.00/hour (DOE) About the Role We are seeking a Medical Front Desk Administrator to be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. This role is vital to creating a welcoming environment while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of front office activities. You will handle scheduling, insurance verification, patient check-in/out, and support providers by maintaining accurate records and timely communication. Bilingual abilities Spanish Required Key Responsibilities • Greet and check in patients with professionalism and compassion. • Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and procedures in the EHR system. • Verify insurance eligibility, obtain authorizations/referrals, and collect co-pays. • Answer multi-line phone system; direct calls/messages to appropriate staff. • Maintain patient charts and update demographics, medications, and records. • Process medical records requests in compliance with HIPAA regulations. • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow. • Perform administrative tasks including scanning, faxing, filing, and data entry. • Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate degree in healthcare administration preferred). • 1+ year of experience in a medical office front desk, patient access, or administrative role. • Familiarity with EHR/Practice Management systems (Epic, Athena, NextGen, etc.). • Knowledge of insurance plans, billing, and authorization processes. • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. • Bilingual abilities Spanish highly preferred. • Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality practices.
