Regional Sales Manager – Americas Position Purpose: Provide leadership to build sales growth and commercial performance across North and South America. Strengthen market position through core competencies, product range, and value-added services while achieving growth and market penetration. Ensure alignment with global strategy and culture while improving sales team effectiveness to achieve sustainable, profitable growth. Key Responsibilities: - Drive accountability for results across commercial, market, customer, sales, product, and supply chain functions. - Utilize strategic market forecasting to anticipate future resource needs. - Develop and execute strategic business plans. - Drive ongoing business performance improvements aligned with key objectives. - Strengthen service standards and consolidate key customer and distributor relationships. - Build and maintain a strong senior industry network. - Lead, coach, and mentor teams to improve performance and challenge the status quo. - Shape and strengthen a culture of achievement across sales teams. - Champion brand presence across the Americas in partnership with marketing. Key Skills & Experience: - Demonstrated achievement of personal and business objectives. - Strong commercial management and decision-making capability. - Senior or executive-level leadership experience. - High energy, integrity, resilience, and passion for achievement. - Experience driving improvements across financial performance, people capability, and expense reduction. - Background in Packaging, QSR, FMCG, Distribution, or similar industries preferred. - Experience working within culturally diverse markets is a plus. Knowledge & Experience (Essential): - Proven success in regional sales leadership roles. - Ability to drive new business development and lead from the front. - Minimum of 5 years leading multi-region sales teams. - Experience negotiating multi-year supply agreements with multinational brands. Knowledge & Experience (Desirable): - Experience supplying food service markets. - Existing network within packaging or affiliated industries. Position Dimensions: - Direct Reports: 1 Country Sales Manager (South America), 2 Business Development Managers (North America). - Reports to: Group Executive General Manager Sales. - Key member of senior leadership team with strong relationships across global stakeholders and key customers. Mission: Deliver sustainable, profitable growth.
