Head of Field Medical Affairs About the Company Oncology-focused biopharmaceutical company Industry Biotechnology Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Head of Field Medical Affairs for the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and building a high-performing U.S. Field Medical team, including MSLs and Evidence/Value Liaison professionals. This role involves defining and executing the national scientific engagement strategy, generating actionable insights from the field, and working closely with Evidence/HEOR to drive value-based messaging and medical pull-through. The Head of Field Medical Affairs will also be tasked with strategically aligning field activities with commercial and clinical goals across the product lifecycle, establishing and tracking metrics, and elevating scientific influence to deepen KOL and institutional relationships. Applicants must have an advanced scientific or clinical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP/PA or equivalent) and significant U.S. Field Medical leadership experience in oncology or a related specialty. A proven track record in building and scaling high-performing MSL organizations, as well as strong leadership and talent development skills, are essential. The role requires a data-driven mindset and the ability to influence executive stakeholders and external KOLs. The position is remote, with a preference for a time zone compatible with national field operations, and involves frequent travel to regional sites, institutional partners, and national conferences.
