Executive Director – Assisted Living & Memory Care Location: Brentwood, California Starting Salary: From $160,000/year, depending on experience We are seeking a seasoned and mission-driven Executive Director to lead our Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Brentwood, CA. This is a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate and results-oriented leader who thrives in a dynamic, service-focused environment. As Executive Director, you will be responsible for overall operations, staff leadership, regulatory compliance, and delivering an exceptional resident experience. You’ll be joining a team that is deeply committed to excellence in care, service, and community culture. Key Responsibilities: • Provide strategic leadership and daily oversight of all community operations, ensuring quality standards and service excellence. • Lead, develop, and support department managers across all functional areas including care services, business operations, dining, life enrichment, and maintenance. • Maintain strong financial stewardship by managing budgets, monitoring expenses, and ensuring responsible fiscal practices. • Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies. • Foster a culture of respect, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement among staff. • Serve as the community’s ambassador—building and maintaining positive relationships with residents, families, referral sources, and regulatory agencies. • Oversee resident care programs and services, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of each individual. Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within Assisted Living or Memory Care. • Proven knowledge of California’s assisted living regulations and licensing requirements. • Strong background in staff supervision, financial management, and operational leadership. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to inspire teams and lead with integrity, empathy, and professionalism.
